I will never forget your most delightful caresses
Never in my life,
Neither your warm lips,
Nor the words, pervaded with love.

I remember your eyes,
Wild, distracted by a thrill,
Huge and widely open,
As if that all was happening to-day.

The melody of this tango made me especially sentimental and reflective and I felt that I wanted to thank - here and now - to all nice people, my guests, visitors and friends for kind words of acceptance, support and their good taste regarding my "TANGO-action" on YouTube, which has been lasting since the very first day of my appearance here.

From my party, all has been done with true devotion and pleasure: I just LOVE tango - in its many types and variations, including all that material which was conceived and created in my country: Poland.
On that "special occasion", I decided to present also something special: a "modern", contemporary performance of the old Polish tango, my favourite : "Pamiętam twoje oczy" (I remember your eyes...), composed by Zygmunt Karasiński in 1930 to the lyrics by T. Stach.

It is played by an outstanding Polish violinist, Krzysztof Jakowicz, together with the tango musical ensamble "Tangata Quintet". Details (in Polish) below:

The music will tell us itself about the level of the performance and creativity of the musicians involved.
The CD record from which this tango is transferred, was purchased after the public tango-concert of the mentioned above group. My great thanks to Krystian for his help.

Main roles in my little film agreed to play...:)...: Victor Staal
Ann Sheridan and Hans Jaray (taken from Polish magazines, mid 1930's which together with documents and visuals regarding the music presented are from my - JP's - collection).
