Announcing the Breed Team Expansion!

I'd just like to take a moment to share with you some of the exciting plans that Breed is working on. Some of you might be noticing the new posts by make up artists, hair stylist and wardrobe stylists. This is part of Breed's expansion into other areas of our fashion photography industry that are key to us accomplishing the best work we can as fashion photographers. For those of you who didn't know me before Breed, I had a blog about fashion photography for about 5 years before I co-founded Breed. My deepest wish was to dispel myths, expose truths and draw open the curtains to the secretive, coveted world of fashion photography in order to educate those that are as passionate as I am about their work. I always had this dream that my previous blog would expandto include all facets of the industry. Because without the team, we can't accomplish the quality of work we envision.

Change can be a frightening thing for some people. But change for Breed means expansion. And that expansion is for you, the fashion photographer. We want you to expand your potential, to understand that you working with a talented make up artist, or to work with a model who understands how to emote, is tantamount to you creating the best work you possibly can. Without that great team, your work will remain static. My dream has always been to build a community of people in the fashion industry that build their careers together. Breed plans on making that happen for you. We plan on developing workshops where you, the emerging fashion photographer, can work with emerging make up and hair stylists. more from Melissa Rodwell
