36 killed, 147 wounded in massive suicide bombing at Istanbul airport
At least 36 people were killed and 147 wounded in two explosions that rocked Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport late Tuesday, a senior Turkish official confirmed to the Associated Press. Government officials had initially reported 50 people were killed in the attacks, but redacted that estimate early Wednesday morning.

White House dismisses Benghazi panel as 'political fantasizing'
White House spokesman Josh Earnest dismissed the final report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi as "political fantasizing" on the part of Republicans, and charged that the report is a political gift from the House to the Republican National Committee. "It seems at this point that ... after eight different congressional inquiries have now been conducted into this matter, it seems that there is only one remaining question, and it's simply this: Is the RNC going to disclose the in-kind contribution that they received from House Republicans today?" Earnest said.

Benghazi was an early symptom of the great disaster that President Obama had brought to Libya. The embarrassing and disingenuous cover-up of the attack by his administration was an attempt to hide from from the public, through Election Day, the reality that he had not made the world a safer place. Islamic terrorism was both thriving in its organized form and inspiring sympathizers worldwide, as subsequent events in France, Belgium, California, Orlando, and now Istanbul have amply demonstrated.

Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump bashed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for promoting a globalist trade policy he said hurts American workers before a small crowd in Western Pennsylvania. Backed up by bales of aluminum, Trump lamented the "betrayal" of the American worker, particularly those hit hard throughout Western Pennsylvania. He spoke specifically of those who spent their lives in the steel mills, which are largely a thing of the past.

Reid: Rubio should be sued for his Senate pay
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Sen. Marco Rubio should be sued for the time he was campaigning for president. "He was never here and the state of Florida was missing a senator the whole time," Reid said when asked for a response to Rubio's decision to run for a second Senate term. Reid said Rubio "should be sued to pay back all the money the federal government paid him when he was off campaigning for president."

Former FBI official criticizes Dems' terror watch list gun ban
A former FBI official criticized a proposal to ban gun sales to individuals named on federal terror watch lists, saying that the lists are too "bloated" to be effective in their current form. "I'm afraid that the terrorist watch lists have been fraught with problems from the very beginning, and particularly, the lack of due process makes it impossible for the public to judge whether these are effective methodologies," Michael German, a former FBI special agent who is now a fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice, said Tuesday afternoon.
